When doing large revamps or even a room that needs to be guttered and started from scratch we rebuild the room/space on paper using a computer aided design program known as Sketch Up.
This is an essential tool used when working alongside architects. We usually design the kitchen and bathroom space and carpentry of the houses. The 3D drawings are a fantastic medium for all involved to execute exactly what is required.
Visual boards tell a story on how to create a scheme and atmosphere before a room or house is even born.
Here lies the conceptual ideas. Ideas of what furniture and fabrics to be used or designed along with paint colours, lighting, flooring and any trimmings that bring life to the project at hand.
The boards get the creative juices going and are a great reminder to the client on what the brief is. Being loyal to the brief from the start is a secret ingredient to a successful interior. Storyboards also weed out what clients don’t enjoy, quickly establishing what direction is favourable.
Curtaining and Upholstery
We have an array of fabric books to choose fabrics from if clients are wanting to order fabric for their sofa or cushions, etc.
On site, we manufacture curtains, blinds, ottoman, headboards, scatters and sofas. Which helps when doing bespoke work for projects.
Our mirrors are an “up-cycled” product that provide employment to underprivileged ladies.
